Technoworld is an independent distributor / retailer of consumer products. Technoworld does not manufacture any of the products sold on this website nor provides any direct Internet or web-related services. Technoworld is not responsible for any damage or loss resulting from the use of the manufacturers devices.

Technoworld owns the technoworld.ca, tragps.ca, traksat.ca domains and related marks. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names (collectively the marks) are the property of their respective owners.

Permission is granted to electronically copy and print hard copy portions of these sites for the sole purpose of placing an order with Technoworld or using these sites as a shopping resource. Order Acceptance
The receipt of an e-mail order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. Technoworld reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order.
Rentals
Service and Equipment may not be used for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose and must be used as required by all applicable laws. The Customer is prohibited from storing, distributing or transmitting any unlawful material through Technoworld’s services.
Collection of Information on Rental Devices
Technoworld will not collect any personal information about individuals except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals for the purpose of renting electronic devices from Technoworld. Examples of such information are: name, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, birthday, and product commentary.
Technoworld may collect tracking information on rental SPOT devices for safety reasons during the rental timeframe. This tracking information will be deleted from its database as soon as the device is returned.
Before we use your tracking information for a purpose that is materially different than the purpose we collected it for or that you later authorized, we will provide you with the opportunity to opt out. An individual may opt-out of such uses of their personal data and tracking information by contacting us at the address given below. We will not use sensitive personal information for a purpose other than the purpose for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individual unless we have received the individual’s affirmative and explicit consent (opt-in).
High Usage
Technoworld reserves the right to monitor services for patterns of high usage. High usage is determined solely by Technoworld and its network partners. Accounts generating high service usage will be flagged in the system and Technoworld will contact the account holder to confirm that the usage is legitimate. In the event that Technoworld is unable to reach the account holder, Technoworld reserves the right to suspend the service until the usage can be confirmed. In addition to suspending services, Technoworld reserves the right to collect an interim payment for unbilled usage prior to invoicing. The interim payment will be used as a deposit for the unbilled usage and will be applied to the next invoice. The size of the interim payment will be determined by Technoworld , and the account holder will be notified by Technoworld prior to the charge being placed. If Technoworld is unable to bill the interim payment, Technoworld will suspend the service until payment can be made.
Limitation on Liability
In no event shall Technoworld be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, even if Technoworld has been previously advised of the possibility of such damages, whether in an action under contract, negligence, or any other theory, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use, or performance of the information, services, products, and materials available from this site. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding to any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitations may not apply to you.
LIABILITY REGARDING SERVICE
CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT USE OF THE SERVICE FOR EMERGENCY, MEDICAL OR OTHER USES INVOLVING THE POTENTIAL FOR PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF LIFE OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, IS AT CUSTOMER’S OWN RISK, AND THAT THE SERVICES AND/OR EQUIPMENT MAY NOT PERFORM AT THE MOMENT OR AS CUSTOMER DESIRES. TECHNOWORLD SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OF PROPERTY, OPPORTUNITY OR EARNINGS, PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH OR ANY OTHER LOSS WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM THE CUSTOMER’S USE OF SERVICES AND/OR EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, USE OR ATTEMPTED USE OF 911 EMERGENCY SERVICES. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES TO ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF TECHNOWORLD, ITS SUPPLIERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES AND ALL PERSONS FOR WHOM IT MAY BE RESPONSIBLE. TECHNOWORLD DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE PROVISION, QUALITY AND CONSISTENCY OF THE SERVICES AS PROVIDED BY ITS SUPPLIERS AND IS FURTHERMORE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INTERRUPTIONS, DELAYS, INCONSISTENCIES OR FAILURES OF THE NETWORK OR SECURITY BREACHES REGARDLESS OF THE SOURCE OF ANY SUCH PROBLEM INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TECHNOWORLD’S OWN FAULT OR NEGLIGENCE. Technoworld shall not be liable to Customer, nor shall Customer make any claim against Technoworld or its Suppliers, for injury, loss or damage sustained by reason of any unavailability, delay, faultiness or failure of the facilities, equipment and/or services to be provided by Technoworld pursuant to this Agreement.

You acknowledge that Technoworlda is not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any external site.
